Yahoo! Noooo not the search engine, but the Yahoo as in “Hurrah”, “Yeehaaah” and “Yessss”, why the cheers? As you will probably be aware the MSI Wind is due to be stocked on UK shelves sometime in the very near future but why would you want to wait and even more to the point, why pay more?
Remember our unboxing photo-shoot of the Advent 4211? Those that do will know that the 4211 is a MSI Wind with an Advent badge on it, not only that but it’s also a good £50 cheaper.
Soon after our photos were released the Advent 4211 went flying off the shelves and stock became like hen’s teeth to find apart from the odd chancer selling them on eBay for £50+ above the R.R.P. Good news though, PC World have them back in stock for both collect in store and home delivery. If your going to buy one then why not think about the memory upgrade while you have you wallet open. Our easy to follow Advent 4211 Memory upgrade tutorial can be found HERE.
We had a few of the 4211’s lying around our office which were promptly claimed by staff and 9 out of 10 NetbookMag.com staff say they prefer the 4211 to any other netbook they have used. The scariest thing of all is i agree with them. Go grab one before they all go again and let us know your thoughts on the machine. DIRECT LINK

Based upon what I’ve read recently I have to agree. Clearly MSI hit the bull’s eye on the first shot. Acer comes close, but there are still some minor issues that make leave it to the second place in this race.
Asus EEE on the other hand really messed up just about everything straight from the beginning. Eventually they managed to upgrade the CPU, SSD, RAM, screen etc. What else is there left to upgrade? Oh yes the keyboard. I’ve tried asus 701 and acer in a shop and it seems to that asus made it’s keyboard a little too small. I don’t know about MSI. Haven’t tried it yet. So far MSI seems to be the undisputed king of the UMPC hill.
